Depending on your insurance coverage and plan participation, you may be able to continue your dermatologic care with Kyle Herald, PA-C, at his new location:

If you have an existing appointment scheduled with Kyle, please contact KSCC to confirm whether your appointment can be transferred to the new location. Please also verify your insurance coverage before scheduling, as participation varies by individual insurance plan.
Your medical records will be available to support the transition and continuity of care.
Equity Dermatology Closure and Medical Records
As Dr. James Allred focuses more on clinical research, Equity Dermatology will permanently close on November 30, 2026.
KSCC will assume responsibility for maintaining the medical records of Dr. James Allred and Kyle Herald following the closure.

Insurance Coverage and November Transition Support
Please note that KSCC does not participate in Kentucky Medicaid or Kentucky Marketplace insurance plans. If your insurance is not accepted by KSCC, please contact your insurance plan or primary care provider for assistance identifying an in-network dermatologist.
During November 2026, established Equity Dermatology patients may contact our office regarding prescription refill requests or urgent dermatology appointments, subject to clinical review and availability. Please call (270) 467-7400 to inquire about available appointments and assistance during this transition period.
